According to SEMRush’s State of Content Marketing survey, the majority of the marketers (79%) want to generate quality leads & 75% want to attract more traffic for the website. While some marketers say they have focused on brand-oriented goals like getting a name for their own brand (57%) and 47% of marketers said want to improve customer engagement and loyalty for their brand. The marketers also said they will decide what content to create based on keyword research (88%) and 73% of marketers said they will create content on competitive research while following SEO guidelines. The survey is all about the marketer’s goals for the year 2021. It is proved that the majority of marketers have constructed their plan to increase lead generation in 2021.

The coronavirus lockdown leads to a surge in TV streaming. A new survey from Hub Entertainment Research shows that US TV viewers ages 14–74 said they were watching a lot more TV than they did pre-pandemic. According to the WSJ report, ad spending on internet-connected TV has been increased from nearly $8 billion in 2020 to $11.4 billion in 2021 in the U.S. Due to the rapid increase in steaming TV and live streaming services, many startup companies are showing more interest to bring picture-in-picture ads to live streaming video. In 2021, approximately 154.4 million viewers in the United States watched live videos — up from an eMarketer estimate of 15.1 million in early 2020. Live sports in TV steaming also attracted the highest TV audiences in the United States, increased to18.9 million this year from 17.1 million in 2020.

WhatsApp has amassed over 68.1 million users in the United States and projected that about 85.8 million Americans would use WhatsApp to communicate by 2023. Yuri Fiaschi, vice president of global sales at Infobip says the platform is also the best choice for promotions in the US market and also it could become a major player in U.S. retail strategies by the end of 2021. Currently, more than 2 billion people worldwide rely on WhatsApp to keep in touch with their friends and family — and also to interact with businesses, resolve queries, and make purchases. Due to rapid growth, the marketing channel is now considered as the new “Best friend” for many retailers and small business owners as it connects with customers quickly and easily on a platform, they’re comfortable with. However, WhatsApp marketing is more powerful than many brands believe and it’s the best way to grow your business, says some marketers.

The recent edition of games has been released by Facebook in 2021. There is a drastic change in the people for playing games as the pandemic starts. According to the survey which has been considered from over 13,000 people around nine countries has declared that there is a huge growth in the audience for playing games since the start of the pandemic. As the Covid-19 pandemic left all of us in homes, people have looked up for fun and entertainment from homes. Amongst all, U.K has registered as the highest growth for new gamers that is 8.6 million that represents an increase of about 50%.

According to the Adobe Analytics report, Americans have spent $188 billion on shopping on digital sales in 2020 — up from 33% year over year. In America, shoppers who are shopping digitally have spent more than $1 billion a day in the holiday season including Christmas Eve. When considering between Thanksgiving Day and Cyber Monday, there is an increment for shopping on digital sales by 21% when compared to 2019. However, e-commerce gains could go even higher if consumers receive another round of government stimulus check, said Jason Woosley, vice president of commerce product and platform at Adobe.
